Enetimi Alfred Odom (born November 29, 1977), better known by his stage name Timaya, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He hails from Odi, Bayelsa State and is the founder of South South hip hop group Dem Mama Soldiers. His solo career began in 2006 with the release of "Dem Mama", which was met with rave reviews and also appeared on his debut album, True Story released the following year. His second album Gift and Grace was released in 2008. The album was also well-received critically.
Timaya gained further visibility and international prominence through his third studio album De Rebirth, and its lead single "Plantain Boy".[1] Both were commercially successful. He collaborated with Dem Mama Soldiers on the album LLNP (Long Life N Prosperity). In 2012, Timaya released Upgrade, which spawned hits "Bum Bum", "Sexy Ladies", and "Malonogede". To date, his work has earned him four Headies Awards, and one Nigeria Music Award

Christopher Martin Clears The Air On Vehicle Seizure
New York, New York (April 24, 2014). Entertainer Christopher Martin has moved to dispel any misconceptions about the recent seizure of his vehicle by law enforcement personnel from the Major Crimes and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) and the Revenue Protection Division (RPD).
New York, New York (April 24, 2014). Entertainer Christopher Martin has moved to dispel any misconceptions about the recent seizure of his vehicle by law enforcement personnel from the Major Crimes and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) and the Revenue Protection Division (RPD).
Martin’s vehicle was one of several seized as the law enforcement agencies conducted what they said was a crackdown on illegally imported luxury vehicles. The singer’s BMW X5 was among the vehicles seized but Martin, who is nearing the release of his latest album ‘Stepping Razor’, has said he is an innocent consumer caught up in an unfortunate situation.
About two years ago, Martin saw the pre-owned vehicle on the lot of a certified used-car dealer, made inquiries and purchased the vehicle. He was not aware that there may have been anything ‘wrong’ with the vehicle when he made thepurchase. He said he is in possession of the relevant documentation to substantiate his claims.
Martin, who was in possession of the vehicle at the time it was seized by the authorities, insists that he has never been implicated of any wrongdoing by MOCA or the RPD and has been cooperating with them as best as he possibly can. He met with them recently in the presence of his attorney. The singer is hoping that there will be a mutually satisfactory outcome to the situation.
In the meantime, Martin remains focused on the upcoming release of his first studio album that will be released on the VPRecords label. The 27-year-old singer signed a multi-album deal with the label last summer. He is also due to make his movie debut this summer in Destiny, a Jeremy Whittaker film in which he plays a major role alongside Canadian-based singer, the beautiful Karian Sang.

Over the Easter weekend, R&B superstar Rihanna tweeted a video of herself and best friend Melissa Forde in the back of a truck singing along to Nadine Sutherland and Buju Banton’s ‘Wicked Dickie’.
Despite the video of the Bajan beauty singing the song getting only 400 views since its YouTube release just over two days ago, YouTube users have admitted that it was Rihanna’s video that led them to search for the original version of the song.

Her loyal fans, who the singer calls her navy, have since expressed their love and even obsession with the song. One user said, “BadGalRiRi brought me here,” while another admitted, “Lol me too! And now I’m in love lol”.

Rihanna also posted another video via Instagram of herself smoking marijuana, gyrating, and singing along to Banton’s controversial Bum Bye Bye.
This isn’t the first time Rihanna has released a video of herself singing along to reggae tunes. Last year, she released a 16-second video of herself gyrating and singing to Busy Signal’s Missing You. That video caused the original video for Signal’s song to break the three million views threshold.
